I should also note a warning here. The video of the girl shooting a handgun contains nudity. If you are under 18 or are easily offended by the human body in it's most natural state then you should not watch that video. It's not sexual just a nude woman shooting a handgun. However, by viewing these video's you agree that you are of legal age to view them and by viewing them you agree that this web site, it's owner, and any and all links to other sites are absolved from all responsibility and can not be held accountable for your actions! These snippets are from an article on Kitco's site titled"New Era For Gold And Silver Has Begun"

"We are entering a new era when gold is rallying away from other so-called currencies thought to be of more value than the dollar. This process has been gradual but is moving faster during this new, more powerful gold movement. Keep in mind all paper currencies are fiat money and must eventually succumb to the true value of gold. If a nation’s currency were backed 100 percent by gold and it could be proven, that paper money would no doubt hold its true value. This is not the case, and currencies throughout the world are declining in value compared to gold at different rates of transition."(italics added)

"This is an election year and the politicos will do anything to be re-elected. The most important thing they will do is make the economy appear strong and safe and keep stock markets levitated. We all know by now how this is accomplished. They buy Dow and S&P Futures and sell gold along with lots of happy phony speeches. Cutting rates is part of this game as well, but this has had little or, no effect so far. Do not be fooled. This game is in play once again."

These comments and understanding of economics, finances, monetary values just helps make the case for Ron Paul's fiscal responsibility in government case and the case for ridding the U.S of the curse that is the Federal Reserve.

The ranks of 60 million firearms owners produce about 1,000 accidental deaths each year (CDC numbers). That amounts to 0.0000167 accidental deaths per gun owner. We are an incredibly safe group. And we have zero to do with criminal misuse of firearms.

Doctors, on the other hand, account for 120,000 accidental patient deaths per year. That figure is oft quoted in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).

Remember that the numbers for gun owner accidents are often self inflicted. Virtually all doctor-induced accidental deaths happen to someone other than physicians.

Guns save more lives than they take; prevent more injuries than they inflict

* Law-abiding citizens use guns to defend themselves against criminals as many as 2.5 million times every year -- or about 6,850 times a day.1 This means that each year, firearms are used more than 60 times more often to protect the lives of honest citizens than to take lives.2

* Of the 2.5 million self-defense cases, as many as 200,000 are by women defending themselves against sexual abuse.3

* Citizens shoot and kill at least twice as many criminals as police do every year (1,527 to 606).4 And readers of Newsweek learned in 1993 that "only 2 percent of civilian shootings involved an innocent person mistakenly identified as a criminal. The "error rate" for the police, however, was 11 percent, more than five times as high."5

* Of the 2.5 million times citizens use their guns to defend themselves every year, the overwhelming majority merely brandish their gun or fire a warning shot to scare off their attackers. Less than 8% of the time, a citizen will kill or wound his/her attacker.6

* Handguns are the weapon of choice for self-defense. Citizens use handguns to protect themselves over 1.9 million times a year.7 Many of these self-defense handguns could be labeled as "Saturday Night Specials." -courtesy of Gun Owners of America, 3/25/01...12:31 p.m. e.s.t.

Justice Department study:

* 3/5 of felons polled agreed that "a criminal is not going to mess around with a victim he knows is armed with a gun."20

* 74% of felons polled agreed that "one reason burglars avoid houses when people are at home is that they fear being shot during the crime."21

* 57% of felons polled agreed that "criminals are more worried about meeting an armed victim than they are about running into the police."22 -courtesy of Gun Owners of America, 12/3/00...6:55 p.m. e.s.t.
Voter error accounts for more than 2 Million uncounted ballots nationwide. Florida's ballots that weren't counted only make up 6% - 8% of the total ballots that were NOT Counted. Read about it at Financial Times
